Hereinafter: Archaeological Seminars
We are pleased that you have chosen to purchase tickets on the Archaeological Seminars website.
Please read carefully the instructions below, as they shall apply without exception to all use you make of the Website.
If you do not agree with them, in whole or in part, please refrain from performing any actions or using the Website. Please note that performing actions or using the Website indicates and constitutes your consent and acceptance of all the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
- All references in these Terms in the masculine form shall also apply to the feminine form, and all references in the plural form shall also apply to the singular, and vice versa.
- Archaeological Seminars reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time, and the binding version shall be the one published and updated on the Website.
- Tickets may be purchased for any of the products listed on the Archaeological Seminars Website.
- Payment for ticket purchases is made via credit card.
- To make a booking, you will be asked to select the product, the date of the activity, and the quantity of tickets you wish to purchase.
- When making a booking, you will be asked to fill out a personal information form including name, ID number, phone number, email address, credit card details (for which you are legally authorized to make purchases), and booking details. It is clarified that all information provided must be accurate and correct, and providing false information is a violation of the law.
- According to the law, you are not obliged to provide these details, and their provision is at your discretion. However, without providing the required information, it will not be possible to book and purchase tickets through the Website.
- It is clarified that final approval of the transaction by the credit card company that issued the credit card, whose details were provided as above, is a precondition and essential for accepting your booking and purchasing the tickets. Once the transaction is approved by the credit card company, you will receive an order confirmation on the screen, and your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the order.
- If you do not receive a confirmation via SMS or email, it is your responsibility to contact Customer Service using the details below to verify whether your booking was received.
- On the day and time of your booking, you must appear with the ticket you received (either on your phone or printed) and present it at the site.
- Notwithstanding the above, even if your booking has been confirmed, Archaeological Seminars reserves the right to change the activity dates. In such a case, you may choose either an alternative activity date or receive a refund of the payment made. You will not be entitled to any other compensation.
- Cancellations by you:
12.1. Cancellations shall be permitted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (“Consumer Protection Law”). Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the services under these Terms are not cancellable if the event date falls within seven working days from the date of the transaction.
12.2. Requests for cancellation, subject to the above, must be submitted in writing by email to Office@digforaday.com. Cancellation shall only be valid upon receiving written confirmation from Customer Service.
12.3. If you are entitled to cancel the transaction as above, Archaeological Seminars may charge a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction amount or 100 NIS, whichever is lower.
12.4. Notwithstanding the above, changes to the activity date shall be allowed at our discretion and subject to availability. (It is clarified that a change constitutes a cancellation for the purposes of the above and the creation of a new transaction).
- Privacy:
13.1. Personal details provided during booking will be stored in our databases. We reserve the right to collect information about you during the use of the Website, including your purchasing habits, purchases made, pages visited, payment methods used, and any other information, and we may perform statistical analysis on this data.
13.2. We will make every effort using available means to maintain the confidentiality of your information and prevent its disclosure to third parties not related to us and/or the transaction. However, as this involves online activity, we cannot guarantee complete protection against breaches or exposure of stored information. If a third party nevertheless accesses or misuses your information, you will have no claims, lawsuits, or demands against us, and we shall bear no liability.
13.3. Notwithstanding the above, we may transfer your information in the following cases:
13.3.1. For the purpose of executing the transaction and in the case of any dispute between us.
13.3.2. Breach of your obligations under these Terms and/or illegal acts.
13.3.3. By order of the authorities.
13.3.4. Provision of statistical or other data to third parties, provided that such data does not personally identify you.
- On-site behavior:
14.1. Visiting the Tel Marsha excavation site at Beit Guvrin National Park includes walking in open areas with hidden pits and caves. You must follow marked paths only and be accompanied by a certified company guide.
14.2. As part of the general activity, crawling activities are conducted, including crawling, stooping, descending slopes, and walking in dark and confined spaces. Customers with health conditions that may cause problems during the activity are requested to notify the guide in advance. In any case, the decision to participate is solely the customer’s responsibility and at their own risk.
14.3. Visitors must follow all instructions regarding the use of equipment provided for the activity, in accordance with the guide’s instructions only.
14.4. Admission is allowed for ages 5 and above only.
14.5. Admission with weapons is prohibited.
14.6. You must arrive at the meeting point listed in your booking confirmation. In case of delay, we cannot guarantee a place, and you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
- General provisions:
15.1. Archaeological Seminars and/or its representatives shall not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, or special damages to you or a third party resulting directly or indirectly from use or purchase through the Website – regardless of cause. Archaeological Seminars’ liability, in any case, shall be limited to a refund of the amount paid for the tickets.
15.2. We make every effort to maintain the proper functioning of the Website. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, absence of malfunctions or errors – including hardware, software, or network failures – and we or our representatives shall not be liable for any such interruptions.
15.3. All copyrights and intellectual property rights embodied in the Website (including its design and operation) and all contents and components therein, in whole or in part, remain at all times the property of Archaeological Seminars. No part may be copied, distributed, publicly displayed, or shared with third parties without prior written consent from Archaeological Seminars.
15.4. We make every effort to prevent malfunctions in the activity areas and components. In case of any malfunction preventing the activity, our liability shall be limited to providing a ticket for an alternative date and/or refund of the ticket price paid, and no other compensation or indemnity shall apply.
15.5. No double discounts or promotions apply.
15.6. Any clerical error in the description of any matter shall not obligate Beit Guvrin Archaeological Seminars Ltd. or its representatives.
15.7. These Terms and Conditions and the use of the Website shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction for any matter arising from these Terms and Conditions and/or the use of the Website shall lie with the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
